Gameplay Behavior
The Gameplay Settings that control the way the game plays.
Gamemode TypeThis setting changes the overall gamemode.
Free-For-All: Players are working by themselves to win the minigames. Teams: Players are randomly placed on either the Red or Blue team. They must work together to win each minigame. |
Auto-Balance DifficultyChanges the difficulty setting in most minigames.
Automatic: The game automaticly changes difficulty depending on player count and gamemode. Easy: Forces the game to play as if there is a low player count (2-4~). Medium: Forces the game to play as if there is a medium player count (5-8~). Hard: Forces the game to play as if there is a large player count (9...). |
Team Creation MethodControls the team creation process.
Balanced: The game will try and make the teams as even as possible. Randomized: The game will ignore the amount of players on each team when setting up players. Selection: Before the game begins, players are given the chance to join either the Red or Blue team. Teams can be unbalanced, and players that don't choose during the given time are placed on a team randomly. |
Force ThemeControls the prioritization of themed elements in minigames.
Disabled: The game treats all elements as the same. EvoTech: Prioritizes elements themed to EvoTech. |
Minigame Selection
The Gameplay Settings that affect the selection of minigames.
Game SelectionControls how the minigames are decided every round.
Random: Randomly picks a minigame from the list every round. The behavior for the randomizer can be changed using the "Use True Randomization" setting. Selection: In-between minigames, a player is chosen to choose the next minigame. Use the provided panel to select the minigame of your choice. Voting: In-between minigames, players can vote on five minigames from the playable pool. Voting happens from within the players' inventories. The playable pool is affect by the "Use True Randomization" setting. |
Use True RandomizationControls the behavior when randomly selecting a minigame.
Enabled: The minigame randomizer will ignore if a minigame has been played recently or not. Disabled: The minigame randomizer will keep track of recently played minigames and skip them until amount of unplayed ones gets too low. |

Additional Gameplay Settings players have access to.
Player Join SystemControls if new players can join while a game is active.
Enabled: New players can join in between minigames. If teams mode is enabled, they'll be set to a team based on the "Force Team Balancing" setting. Disabled: New players can't join in and will remain as spectators until the game has ended. |
Allow Game TutorialsControls the conditions necessary for minigame tutorials to play.
Always: At the start of every minigame, the tutorial will play regardless if it's been played before that game. Once Per Game: Will play the tutorial if the minigame has yet to be played that game. Never: The tutorial will be skipped and will go straight to gameplay, regardless if the minigame been played before that game. |
